“I just don’t wanna see somebody’s package yet. I’m not ready for that yet. I’m definitely developing feelings, but I don’t need to see the package… although it was huge.” — Jillian, THE BACHELORETTE, sees more than she wanted to of crotch-baring, foot-fetishist Tanner

Review: A FAMILY GUY iPhone App #Fail
Combining two of our favorite addictions, this TV Addict will begin periodically reviewing TV-related iPhone Apps, starting with the recently released FAMILY GUY application from FOX Interactive.
In a nutshell, FAMILY GUY’s iPhone App gives Stewie Griffin addicts the ability to watch clips (optimized for WiFi, but also works on 3G), toss Peter, create a Stewie pin-up and mix your own FAMILY GUY video mashup.
What Works: Updated with a fresh crop of surprisingly lengthy video clips on a daily basis (or at least since the day this App was purchased, which for the record was Friday June 20, 2009) FAMILY GUY’s iPhone App has been a surprisingly good tool in this TV Addict’s continued effort to procrastinate from doing actual work. And, since FAMILY GUY episodes at their best, are essentially uneven mixes of pop culture references, sight gags, and random bursts of violent (albeit hilarious) physical humor stitched together around a very loose and usually pointless plot, the App’s ability to play clip after clip of some of the show’s most memorable moments provides for some surprisingly solid breaks from the real world.
Today’s TV Addict Top 5: TV Bosses Who’d Be Easiest To Work For
1) Michael Scott, THE OFFICE: Sure, he’s insane. But he’s also wildly easy to manipulate. “Hey, Mikey, wanna hit a bar for lunch and some mano-e-mano bonding?”
2) Angela Bower, WHO’S THE BOSS: Come on, how many times did you actually see Tony do anything even remotely “housekeeper”-like?
3) Charlie Townsend, CHARLIE’S ANGELS: Who doesn’t love the idea of a boss who never, ever shows up at the office, instead communicating entirely via telephone?
Bryan Fuller Exits HEROES [Again!], We Read Between the Lines
With today’s big news revolving around PUSHING DAISIES mastermind Bryan Fuller departing from his role as creative consultant (or as we like to call him, saviour) of HEROES so that he may focus his energy on developing new shows for NBC Universal, theTVaddict.com thought it might be fun to read between the lines of the statement Fuller sent to Ain’t It Cool News earlier in the day.

WHAT WE’RE WATCHING:
MAKE IT OR BREAK IT (9PM ABC Family)
This Stick It-esque drama about young gymnasts with dreams of the Olympics may mine every teen sports movie trope there is (showbiz mom and dads; catty competition; down-on-her-luck protagonist defies odds and scores huge), but it manages to do so with a naturalness that’s a relief — I don’t I could take another broadly drawn teen drama. It’s no FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, but even if you’re not this show’s target audience, you shouldn’t feel bad for liking it. Grade: B — Aleks Chan
NEW & NOTABLE:
STAR TREK: TNG (8PM Sci Fi)
JJ. Abrams STAR TREK re-boot got you itching for more? Why not jump on the NEXT GENERATION bandwagon with the thrilling two-part episode that assimilated this TV Addict into the annals of TV nerdom.

5 Questions with MAKE IT OR BREAK IT Star Candace Cameron Bure
As ABC Family gets set to unveil their new original series MAKE IT OR BREAK IT tonight, your very own TV Addict had the chance to do something that his ten-year old self would be like, OMG, so totally jealous of! Talk to our childhood crush FULL HOUSE’S DJ Tanner actress Candace Cameron Bure. Here’s what we learned:
On what brought Candace Cameron Bure back to television.
After tackling her life’s most important role to date, that of mother to three genetically blessed children, her husband Valerie Bure’s retirement from the National Hockey League (NHL) was what allowed her to get back in front of the camera. “It’s always been very important for me as a parent to have one of us stay at home with our children,” explained Cameron Bure. “And when ABC Family came to me and presented MAKE IT OR BREAK IT I found an instant connection with the show because it’s based on competitive sports, a world that I’ve been in for the past 13 years and know well since my husband was a professional athlete.”

Fall Preview 09: MODERN FAMILY
You’ve seen the commercials. You’ve heard the hype. Now there’s only one thing you want to know: Which of the new fall shows are worth watching and which should be avoided at all costs? In this continuing series, we give you the scoop on some of the most highly-anticipated shows of the season. Which will be the next GREY’S ANATOMY… and which will be the new JOEY? Next up, proof that ABC’s comedy development paid off with a first look at MODERN FAMILY.
Why We’ll Watch: Shot in the now all too familiar documentary style, MODERN FAMILY is ABC’s answer to THE OFFICE and what you get when you marry a ridiculously smart script from veteran scribes Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd (JUST SHOOT ME, BACK TO YOU) with a cast of immensely likable actors including Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell (Who play a married couple with three kids), Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet (Playing a gay couple on their way home from Vietnam having just adopted a baby) and Ed O’Neill and Sofa Vergara (Who play newlyweds with more than a few years in between them).
