An In Depth Look At… THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Marriage-Go-Round!
When it comes to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, fans know one thing: They want Nick and Phyllis’ marriage to overcome every obstacle. Unless, of course, said fan is a fan of the formerly-wed Nick and Sharon. This week, the battle for the man in the middle heats up, and it just might turn out that a gorgeous little baby dictates which woman her dad winds up with!
“Sharon thought her baby was dead,” explains Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms. “Right after she gave birth, Nick’s brother, Adam, swiped the baby and gave it to another woman. Now, the truth has finally come out, but that’s only complicated things for everybody. Nick definitely loves his wife, Phyllis. But he has a history with Sharon. And now, there’s the added draw of this newborn baby that they both thought had died.”
And yes, that baby — Faith — was conceived when Nick cheated on current his wife with his ex-wife. “But hey,” jokes Simms, “that’s only fair. After all, Phyllis was the other woman when Nick and Sharon were married!”

Dana Delany Looks Back on her favorite roles, including DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, PASADENA and KIDNAPPED
Move over Ryan Seacrest, Dana Delany just stole your busiest actor in Hollywood title. Don’t believe us, get this. On a break from shooting her new ABC pilot BODY OF EVIDENCE in Providence, Delany took to the phones to not only promote her current guest stint on CASTLE, but her recent DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES exit and reflect on a career that has spanned over three decades and included TV Addict favorites such as PASADENA and KIDNAPPED.
Before we get to your guest appearance on CASTLE, I first have to ask about your recent work on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. How surprised were you by Katherine’s journey this season?
Dana Delany: I loved this season. Just beginning with last fall when I started to unravel when Mike left me, to when Marc [Creator Marc Cherry] came to me with the idea that I would go sapphic for a while, I thought it was great material and so much fun to do. I think what Marc discovered early on that with the Katherine character, you could go through a little more odd stuff with her because she wasn’t really as iconoclastic as the other characters. Like the story-line with Robin [Julie Benz], I think it turned out delightfully sweet and heartfelt.

Today’s TV Addict Top 5: Questions with Michaela Conlin who reflects on 100 episode of BONES
What can you tell us about Angela’s role in the much-anticipated 100th episode?
Michaela Conlin: We go back seven years, a year before the pilot. Brennan and Angela had been friends already and we find out about how and why Brennan decides to bring her into the Jeffersonian as an employee. She had been travelling and is trying to get back to Paris, which is sort of why she takes the job.
Looking back on the first 100 episodes, do you have a favorite?
I really loved the first Christmas episode. I know a lot of people didn’t love it, but shooting that episode, it was the 13 episode of the season of the first year and it was really when we started to congeal as a cast. We all shot everyday, we were locked in the lab, I was in an elf outfit, it was just a blast. It was lovely and the first time I think we realized that we had something very special.
