THE GOOD: Brace yourself, because actual plot development did occur in an episode of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER! No really. Robin made the decision that in order to move on with her life and move in with Don, the time was right to take a break from her incestuous friendships with former flames Barney and Ted. Also falling under the category of “good” was the fact that after five seasons of missing out on the obvious gag, a character, in this case Don, erroneously assumed Ted — with his penchant for Appletinis, calligraphy and cooking — was gay. An incorrect assumption that was almost as funny as the box of letters Ted brought out to help get over Robin that was labelled”For My Biography,” which let’s face it was both so Ted, and so awesome.

Ask the Addict: Spoilers on LOST, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, ROOKIE BLUE, THE GOOD WIFE, PARENTHOOD, GLEE & More!
As a fellow EVERWOOD addict, I’m very excited for Gregory Smith’s return to the small screen in ROOKIE BLUE. What’s the word on the street? — Connor
The TV Addict: Having just recently had the chance to screen the pilot, fans of the artist formerly known as Ephram Brown will be happy to discover that ROOKIE BLUE does in fact live up to its billing of GREY’S ANATOMY meets NYPD BLUE by delivering a competently produced police procedural with the usual array of TV tropes that go with it (See: Inter-office romance and secrets galore!) That said, would we really be as excited for the show if it didn’t star an EVERWOOD alum? Probably not. But we’ll get to more of that in our full-fledged review coming soon.
Do you think tonight’s episode of LOST titled “The Candidate” will bring with it a definitive answer as to which Kwon, be it Sun or Jin, Jacob was referring to? — Amber
The TV Addict: Yes. But don’t take our word for it, here’s what actor Daniel Dae Kim coyly teased during a one-on-one interview with him last week late last week. “There will be progress in that regard.” Adding, “No” when we followed up with whether or not he was surprised as to who was the lucky candidate was.

Today’s TV Addict Top 5: Questions with LOST Star Daniel Dae Kim
Last week, LOST co-executive producer Damon Lindelof hinted in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter that fans will more than likely be asking, “What did they mean by this?” after the show ends. Having just recently finishing shooting the finale, do you think fans will be satisfied?
Daniel Dae Kim: Given the nature of television it’s hard to please all the people all the time. But I will say I think the finale is true to Damon’s [Lindelof] vision of the show as he originally described it to me.
LOST still has a lot of questions to answer, should fans be prepared for a lot of them to be left up in the air?
I don’t think there will be a lot of questions left up in the air because I think quite frankly a lot of questions have been answered already. I think the writers have done a really good job of doling out answers with every episode. We know what the numbers mean, we know what the black smoke is, and there are significant answers to significant questions in the coming episodes as well.
Say What? Our TV Quote of the Day!
“We’re done. Amen.” Was what both @CarltonCuse and @DamonLindelof tweeted last night, signalling the fact that the season finale of LOST was as they say in the business “in the can,” and the end of a remarkable six year journey that will culminate with the LOST series finale set to air on May 23 at 9PM on ABC (CTV in Canada).
First Look: GLEE’s Sue Sylvester Goes Glum!
Wondering why Sue Sylvester looks as though she has just seen a ghost? Well, keep wondering! Because this TV Addict is not about to spoil tomorrow night’s episode of GLEE that features special guest stars Molly Shannon and Olivia Newton-John. Except to say that said look of horror plastered across Sue’s face may have a little something to do with a video gone viral. More first look photos of which — including an equally mortified Rachel Berry for reasons unrelated — can be found after the jump.
NBC Officially Gets Into Bed with J.J. Abrams
Good News: In a no-brainer of epic proportions, NBC has issued its first scripted series pickup for the 2010-2011 season to UNDERCOVERS, the high-anticipated new drama from J.J. Abrams and Josh Reims.
Better News: In a refreshing change of pace, a big-budgeted network drama doesn’t feature a slew of really good looking white people, but rather Boris Kodjoe (SOUL FOOD) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (DOCTOR WHO) as married ex-CIA agents who get thrust back into the world of espionage when their friend Nash (Carter Macintyre) goes missing while on the trail of a Russian arms dealer.
Best News of All: If all goes according to [our] plan, Monday nights just got a helluva lot hotter thanks to the perfect pairing of CHUCK and UNDERCOVERS. We’re just sayin’
