Deal of the Day: THE WEST WING Complete Series on DVD
Perfectly timed to coincide with this somewhat depressing lull in original programming as the Networks pause for a week or two following May Sweeps before rolling out their summer schedule comes this TV Addict’s Deal of the Day. For 24 hours only, Amazon.com is offering up THE WEST WING Complete Series on DVD for a mere $99.9. That amounts to a whopping 67% off the regular price of $299.99 for what is quite possibly this TV Addict’s all-time favorite television show. Well, with of course the notable exception of that snooze-inducing episode where we got to spend an hour with C.J. and her Dad back in her hometown of Dayton, Ohio.
Simply click here to check it out and get ready to enjoy over 154 hours of how we wish our elected officials conducted themselves.

• No Love for Hewitt, ABC declines to save GHOST WHISPERER.
• Fresh blood! Alan Ball discusses TRUE BLOOD’s newest residents.
• Fly on the wall, Jose Molina spills what it was really like to be a writer on Joss Whedon’s FIREFLY.

An ALIAS Reboot, Seriously? Why ABC is in danger of becoming the next NBC!
Stop us if this sounds familiar.
Rather than take the time and money to develop a uniquely original hit TV show from scratch, rumor has it that a major network is in talks to reboot a beloved series from the past.
Now I know what you’re thinking, “What TV show from my childhood is NBC going to tarnish next?!” Well, as it turns out, the network that has a history of taking the easy way out (see: BIONIC WOMAN and KNIGHT RIDER) isn’t the culprit. Rather — the guilty party here is ABC — who thanks to a series of curious moves is looking more and more like NBC’s heir apparent. (Note: Not a good thing)
Your TV Tech Fix: Google TV To Invade Your Living Room. Should You Care?
A little less than a week ago, Google, the company known for shaking things up did just that by unveiling their new service called Google TV. Their goal: “combine the TV you know and love with the freedom and power of the Internet.”
Now I’ve been asked several times what my thoughts are when it comes to Google invading the living room TV, because no one is really sure whether or not the search giant can succeed where so many others haven’t. The web and the TV united is like the holy grail – whoever manages to pull it off will rule the world. For those not really in tune with the tech world, here’s a few TV related analogies to give you an idea of how ‘big’ it would be:

Today’s TV Addict Top 5: Highly Predictable Season Finales
THE GOOD WIFE
Political intrigue, family drama and the return of Cary! Yes, Tuesday’s season finale of THE GOOD WIFE had all the makings of a fantastic season ender. Until of course the overzealous publicity department at CBS inexplicably felt the need to completely spoil the ending by releasing what turned out to be a virtual shot-for-shot slideshow of the season’s not-so-shocking final moment (See above photo). Talk about your not-so-good-ending to a great season.
