Blind Item: Which TV Show is Searching for the Anti-Burt Hummel?
This Just In: They can’t all be Burt Hummels! Or at least that’s what fans of a certain cable show will soon be saying upon hearing the news that a casting notice has recently gone out for a 40 – 45 year old disapproving father who — unlike Kurt’s understanding father Burt on GLEE — isn’t exactly on board with his offspring being “born that way.” To the point that said show in question is also on the look out for a 16-17 year old of the opposite sex to set them up with. Think you know what show we’re talking about! You know the drill, post away in the comments below.

Exit Interview: Francesca Hogi Talks SURVIVOR REDEMPTION ISLAND
While many will argue that the introduction of “Redemption Island” is SURVIVOR’s biggest twist this season, some… okay we like to think that the far bigger surprise has a little something to do with the fact that for the first time in the history of the series, ousted contestants will have to face off against… us! Yes, you’re reading that correctly, theTVaddict.com is honored to have been asked to take part in the traditional one-on-ones with each week’s eliminated contestant, the first of which, is Franchesca Francesca Hogi.
Before we begin, we wanted to make sure we got the pronunciation of your name right! How did we do?
Francesca Hogi: [Laughs] Your pronunciation was perfect.
According to your brief bio, your pet-peeve is “self-delusion.” Is Phillip simply being portrayed crazy or is he really off his rocker?
Well first off all, I wrote that bio long before I ever met Phillip so that’s funny. As for my experience with Phillip, it’s is exactly what you see on the show. He definitely had some delusions of grandeur, he definitely feels that everyone around him owes him great respect that he doesn’t feel the needs to reciprocate at all, and I don’t know if he really is a federal agent (but I doubt it!) Whatever experience he’s had in life he tends to decide that he is an expert on everything, that he is a man of complete integrity — even though he says that as he lies — honestly, I don’t even know where to begin with Phillip!

A Toast to WHITE COLLAR at PaleyFest 2011
It was another night of fun and festivity as WHITE COLLAR was honored on Day 3 of the PaleyFest at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills. Fans had arrived early for a glimpse of their favorite stars and by the time the panel began, the auditorium was abuzz with activity and excitement. After a brief introduction by creator/executive producer Jeff Eastin, the fans were treated to a special early screening of the second season finale. With treasure, lots of good-natured teasing and moments of comedic terror, the finale kept everyone on the edge of their seats. If the laughs and cheers were any indication, the episode is a guaranteed to be a fan-pleaser.
So as the lights went up, there was a palpable feeling of anticipation. As Jeff Eastin introduced the evening’s moderator, David E. Kelly (known for creating/producing such legendary shows as ALLY MCBEAL, THE PRACTICE, BOSTON LEGAL and HARRY’s LAW), he shared a brief humorous story about how David came to be the event’s moderator. Apparently Jeff had challenged Tim DeKay to contact David after Tim had bragged about meeting David at another event. So, in what could have been a potentially egg-on-his-face moment for Tim, worked out as apparently David’s daughter is a huge fan of the show and was only too happy to act as moderator.
There Will Be Blood! Queen V Morena Baccarin Teases V’s Killer Finale and Talks Renewal Chances
With tonight marking the penultimate episode of V’s much-improved second season, we thought now might be as good a time as any to catch up with the Queen V, Morena Baccarin, who was kind enough to tease what’s in store for the final two episodes, her take on V’s third season renewal chances and of course, those seemingly never-ending FIREFLY rumors.
As we head into final two episodes of V’s second season, what has surprised you most about your character?
Morena Baccarin: Probably the direction that they’ve taken Anna from this sort of stoic, in control person to a little bit out of control. I really like that and I think it gives me a lot of room to move around in as an actor and do a lot of different things. Also, the guest stars we’ve gotten on the show, it’s been super-exciting to have Jane [Badler] and Mark [Singer].
Rumors are running rampant that the finale is quite a blood bath, anything you can tease?
There are some major, major deaths that are really heartbreaking. Honestly, I couldn’t watch those scenes when we were shooting that episode, it was that heartbreaking.
Today’s TV Addict Top 5: Pilot Casting News That Has Us Really Excited for Fall
Christopher Egan
Latest Gig: Portraying Edgar Allan Poe in ABC’s Sherlock Holmes-esque crime fighting series POE.
Why We’re Excited: Well, if 13 episodes of holding ones own against Ian McShane (aka. the small screen version of Daniel Day-Lewis) in NBC’s short-lived KINGS proved anything, it’s that Aussie import Christopher Egan is a lot more than just a pretty face. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Liza Weil
Latest Gig: According to Deadline Hollywood, Liza Weil has just been added to Shonda Rhimes’ ABC drama pilot DAMAGE CONTROL, an ensemble based on the career of legendary crisis management consultant Judy Smith.
Why We’re Excited: Umm… if you have to ask, you clearly never saw her scene-stealing after scene-stealing turn as Paris Geller on GILMORE GIRLS. Emphasis on the scene-stealing.
