GLEE Recap: “Loser Like Me” and “Homecoming”
Glee is back for it’s final season. And although I’ve been very open about my dislike and criticism of Glee over the last two seasons, I didn’t hate this episode. Now, was it the best? No. Was it the worst? Not by a long shot. Let’s get to this recap shall we.
Apparently, Rachel’s television show (titled: That’s So Rachel) was a huge failure. It was a live scripted show which sounds ridiculous then we got to see some of the pilot later in the episode it was confirmed that it was ridiculous. But it seemed like a much bigger failure on the studio and writer’s part then on Rachel’s but she took a huge hit as well. Rachel goes into hiding and when she comes out, she finds out her parents are getting a divorce and selling her childhood home. [Read more…]
AMERICAN IDOL Season 14 Recap: We Continue to Rank the Best and Worst Auditions!
The positivity parade continued on last night’s ‘American Idol’, and I, for one, couldn’t be any more disappointed.
Not a one. Not a single auditioner to whom they gave the full-fledged audition package was what you’d consider “traditionally bad”. Only one, a girl named Jasmine toward the end of the show, actually didn’t get passed through to Hollywood. She wasn’t even all that bad.
There was some bad though. And by bad, it was more like below average, not the super-fun mockable performances of yesteryear. Pour some liquor on the curb for the girl who sounded like the cowardly lion, the like a virgin kid and the Chicken man from ‘X-Factor’.
Still, we’ll do the best (or worst) with what we have. Plus, there was some actual good stuff too! [Read more…]
PARENTHOOD! EMPIRE! REVENGE! THE GOOD WIFE! THE BACHELOR! GENERAL HOSPITAL! The TV Addict Week in Rewind
Most Noble Sacrifice: Sure, we’ll miss REVENGE’s Daniel, but the fallout from his death has made this show more interesting than it’s been since Season 1.
Best Character: The moment EMPIRE’s Cookie strode out of prison, portrayer Taraji P. Henson immediately stole the show, helping make it the best pilot to hit the airwaves in years.
Best Prop: THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Rick took down the portrait of late patriarch Stephanie and replaced it with one of his mistress, Maya. That sound you heard? Jaws hitting the floor left and right.
Most Likely To Trigger Ugly Crying: If you didn’t weep through the silent opening moments of PARENTHOOD’s 100th episode, you might not be human.
Biggest Waste Of Time: Three hours of THE BACHELOR proved that you really can get too much of a not-so-great-to-begin-with thing.
Most Unique Twist: As THE GOOD WIFE’s Cary prepared himself for a seemingly inevitable stint behind bars, he hired a consultant who advised him on everything from who to befriend to how to eat in order to avoid glass being put in his food. [Read more…]
