BLINDSPOT Season 2 Preview: Where We’ve Been and Where Are We Going Now?
Jane Doe, Jane Doe, wherefore art thou, thy BLINDSPOT?
Where were we? Oh, yes! Assistant CIA Director Carter: dead. Assistant FBI Director Mayfair, dead. Both shot by Oscar, Jane Doe’s former lover and when we last saw BLINDSPOT, Jane’s terror-group handler. Now also dead, at the hand of Jane Doe, who Oscar told halfway through season one that she was behind the whole intrigue of her mysterious tattoos that were the clues that led to the slew of terror plots. Only, Jane Doe didn’t believe him. And up until the cliffhanger final episode of season one, her new love interest and FBI handler, Special Agent Kurt Weller, would never have believed it, either. He thought she was his long-lost childhood friend, Taylor Shaw. Except his father confessed on his deathbed that he had killed Taylor Shaw, which meant that Jane Doe couldn’t be her, despite the supposed DNA evidence. So as the season ended last spring, Weller arrested Jane — fade to black. See the first video below for a quick review of season one.
That’s where we were. Now season two of BLINDSPOT premieres on Wednesday with a whole new paradigm. While we were all enjoying summer, Jane Doe was in a CIA detention center being tortured to get to the truth, as we are supposed to see in the season opener. And being Jane, she will now escape. The hunt will be on by the CIA and her former FBI teammates, who will try to turn her into a triple agent in her former terrorist group. Mistrust and betrayals will threaten to upend friendships, perhaps for good. Where will that lead us? See the second video for a quick preview of season two.
Watch the return of BLINDSPOT on Wednesday, October 14 at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on NBC (U.S.) and CTV (Canada) and in its new time slot beginning next week, Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Season two looks as promising for action and intrigue as season one!

BIG BROTHER (8PM, CBS)
The Power of Veto competition is held. Full disclosure, we’re somewhat proud of ourselves that this BIG BROTHER neophyte has absolutely no idea what CBS’ description of tonight’s special episode means. #teamscriptedTV
AMERICA’S GOT TALENT (8PM, NBC)
Season Finale: The finalists perform one last time… one last time… err, sorry, just got side-tracked by a lyric from Hamilton, and yes, we know we have a problem!
DEADLIEST CATCH: DUNGEON COVE (9PM, DISCOVERY)
Series Premiere: Just once, we’d like a TV network to be honest about naming their spinoff-series by borrowing a line from the classic Mel Brooks movie Spaceballs, DEADLIEST CATCH: THE SEARCH FOR MORE MONEY.
BETTER LATE THAN NEVER (10PM, AMC)
Season Finale: The guys visit Phuket Thailand, get massages and attend a boxing event as part of Terry’s birthday celebration.
HALT AND CATCH FIRE (10PM, AMC)
Donna and Gordon decide to treat themselves to a vacation at home instead of camping. Bos and Cameron return to Texas and Ryan and Joe have a revelation. Meanwhile, this TV Addict sits here quietly at his desk bemoaning the fact that he is TWO (!) seasons behind on what we hear has evolved into one helluva series.
ATLANTA (10PM, FX)
A broke Earn tries to date. It’s funny because Donald Glover’s character’s name is “Earn.” But seriously, this show is awesome. Watch it.

Celebrate SUPERNATURAL Day on September 13!
The longevity of SUPERNATURAL is a surprising story. The show, about to enter its twelfth season this October, is the longest-running show on The CW and the only show currently on The CW that is older than the network itself, having originally premiered on The WB network. In its early days the show’s survival was never guaranteed and at one point it even got banished to Friday nights. But SUPERNATURAL has outlasted everyone’s expectations and the show has spawned a huge and devoted fandom.
To help celebrate the enduring legacy of SUPERNATURAL, Warner Bros. and The CW have teamed up to help bring fans “SUPERNATURAL Day” — a day to celebrate everything the fans love about the show.
Here is everything you need to know about SUPERNATURAL Day:
“Hunters, demons, angels, vampires, ghosts, and all other supernatural creatures will unite with millions of fans on September 13 to celebrate 12 years of the Winchester Brothers’ journey on SUPERNATURAL,” Warner Bros. has announced. “September 13 is already celebrated by fans as it is the official date SUPERNATURAL aired over a decade ago. The day will honor the Winchester brothers and their motto: Saving people, hunting things – the family business. SUPERNATURAL would not be the phenomenon it is today without its biggest supporters: the fans. Fans will have the opportunity to show their ultimate SUPERNATURAL pride.”
SUPERNATURAL Day is a day to celebrate three things: (1) the show, (2) the fans and (3) the cast and crew
Fans can show their SUPERNATURAL pride by:
- Sharing their favorite moments
- Showing how they are the biggest fan (ie cosplay, videos, etc)
- Share images of “Possessed & Obsessed” tattoos on their arms
The CW:
- Will be sharing favorite moments countdown every week
- On 9/13, CW will be showing appreciation for fans through retweets, reposts and Instagram pics featuring “Possessed & Obsessed” tattoos
Talent: Some of the cast and crew will also be participating on social media and will be following #SupernaturalDay – keep an eye out for a special message from the show on 9/13!
CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND Preview: Things Get Even Crazier in Season 2
CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND was a rollercoaster ride in season 1 and the first preview for season 2 shows that the crazy ride is going to continue.
But first, let’s recap….
Rebecca Bunch moved to West Covina after a chance encounter with her old flame, Josh Chan. She had hoped the pair could rekindle their teenager romance, but Rebecca’s biggest obstacle was Josh’s current girlfriend — the beautiful Valencia. Rebecca teamed up with her co-worker Paula to figure out a way to get Josh back, but she also experienced periods of guilt over her schemes to break up the other couple. At the same time, Greg — a friend of Josh — fell for Rebecca. He was suspicious about her interest in Josh and angry at her for a period of time, but it’s clear he wanted to take things further with her.
Unfortunately for Greg and Valencia, Rebecca and Josh finally hooked up again at the end of season 1. And Rebecca dropped a big truth bomb when she told Josh that she had moved to West Covina to be with him. How’s he going to react to that news?
Well, he seems to take it in stride, because a new preview for season 2 shows the pair in a kiss. You can also catch glimpses of some of Rebecca’s crazy season 2 costumes and musical numbers, Greg punching someone in the face and Paula expressing concern for her friend.
CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND returns for its second season on Friday, October 21 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

BRAINDEAD (9PM, CBS – 2 hours)
Season Finale: The biggest mystery surrounding tonight’s two-hour finale isn’t so much whether or not Laurel will be able to drive the bugs from peoples’ brains, but rather will this end up being a season, or series finale.
2017 MISS AMERICA COMPETITION (9PM, FOX)
Chris Harrison and Sage Steele host the legendary* pageant, which celebrates its 96th year, in Atlantic City at Boardwalk Hall. Alicia and Madison work to unite two competing factions. Meanwhile, Nick draws upon skills from his past to take on a new role at the colonia.
THE LAST SHIP (9PM, TNT)

MASTERS OF SEX (10PM, Showtime)
Season Premiere: What MASTERS OF SEX lacks in “AFFAIR” levels of buzz it makes up for in spades with storylines that actually go somewhere! Case in point, season 4 begins with Masters and Johnson searching for purpose after their fallout and looking to work to save them as their personal lives crash down around them.
THE STRAIN (10PM, FX)
