THE GOOD FIGHT Extended Preview: Diane, Lucca, David Lee and More Return!
The first extended trailer for THE GOOD FIRST has arrived and it’s delicious. The series picks up one year after the events of the final episode of THE GOOD WIFE. Diane Lockhart has announced her intention to retire…at least until a problem emerges. An enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia Rindell, while simultaneously wiping out her mentor and godmother Diane’s savings. This, of course, changes Diane’s plans. But when she tells David Lee that she wants to continue working with Lockhart & Lee she’s forced out of her own firm.
Maia, meanwhile, has her own horrible experience and both she and Diane eventually join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicago’s preeminent law firms.
THE GOOD FIGHT will premiere on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 8:00 PM/ET on-demand on CBS All Access and with a special broadcast of the premiere episode on the CBS Television Network (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). After premiere night, all new episodes will be available weekly on Sundays exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers.
SANTA CLARITA DIET Preview: Definitely Not Your Typical Diet
Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant are teaming up for a new Netflix series — SANTA CLARITA DIET — and here’s the completely innocent show synopsis provided by the streaming service: “In SANTA CLARITA DIET, Joel (Timothy Olyphant, Justified) and Sheila (Drew Barrymore, Blended) are husband and wife realtors leading vaguely discontented lives in the L.A. suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenaged daughter Abby (Liv Hewson), until Sheila goes through a dramatic change sending their lives down a road of death and destruction…but in a good way.”
But here’s what the summary doesn’t tell you — this is actually a zombie show. Two previews for the shows below reveal that Sheila’s new diet seems to consist of snacking on people.
SANTA CLARITA DIET will be available for streaming on Netflix on February 3.

The CW Renews SUPERNATURAL, ARROW, SUPERGIRL, THE FLASH and More
The CW has dished out early renewals for seven of its current shows. The series being ordered for the 2017-2018 season include ARROW (Season 6), CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND (Season 3), DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (Season 3), THE FLASH (Season 4), JANE THE VIRGIN (Season 4), SUPERGIRL (Season 3), and SUPERNATURAL (Season 13). Specific premiere dates for each series will be announced at a later time.
“Over the past several seasons, The CW has built a schedule of proven performers, from our lineup of DC superheroes, to critically acclaimed comedies, to sci-fi dramas,” said Mark Pedowitz, President of The CW. “Early pickups of these seven series now allow our producers to plan ahead for next season, and gives us a solid base to build on for next season, with original scripted series to roll out all year long.”

MUTE: First Look at Netflix’s Furistic Film Starring Alexander Skarsgård
Alexander Skarsgård, Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux are starring in the original Netflix film MUTE — a futuristic thriller directed by Duncan Jones (MOON and SOURCE CODE).
Netflix has released three photos from the film that give readers a glimpse into the world that Jones has created. Here’s what we know about the plot: “Set in the near-future, Leo (Alexander Skarsgård) is a bartender living in the pulsing city of Berlin. Because of a childhood accident, Leo lost the ability to speak and the only good thing in his life is his beautiful girlfriend Naadirah (Seyneb Saleh). When she vanishes without a trace, Leo’s search for her takes him deep into the city’s seedy underbelly. A pair of wise-cracking American surgeons (Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux) are the only recurring clue and Leo is forced to take on this teeming underworld in order to find his love.”
