SUPERNATURAL Extended Preview: Oh, Death…..

October 1, 2015 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

supernatural

Following a sneak peek from the season 11 premiere of SUPERNATURAL earlier this week, we now have an extended two-minute preview for the new season.

Death and destruction are the big themes, as the release of the pre-biblical Darkness looks like a bummer for the world. “What new hell has Dean Winchester unleashed upon the world?” asks Rowena. Well, this hell includes beaten and bloody Winchesters, a tortured and cursed Castiel and a creepy clown (that last one might be the scariest of all!).

SUPERNATURAL returns for an all new season on October 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

SUPERNATURAL’s Ackles and Padalecki Welcome the Casts of LUCIFER & LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

October 1, 2015 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

For ten years now, SUPERNATURAL is the only show that regularly films at its Vancouver studios. But all of that changed this year when two new series joined the lot there: LUCIFER and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW.

Both new shows, produced by Warner Bros. Television, premiere midseason (LUCIFER over on Fox and LEGENDS on The CW). To welcome the new casts to the studio, SUPERNATURAL stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles put together a little banner and on September 29 the casts gathered under it for a quick photo (see below).

SUPERNATURAL returns for its eleventh season on Wednesday, October 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW (watch a sneak peek from the premiere).

SUPERNATURAL Season 11 Premiere Sneak Peek: The Effects of the Darkness

September 29, 2015 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

supernatural

The Winchester brothers may have escaped the giant cloud of primordial evil that surrounded them in the season 10 finale of SUPERNATURAL, but when season 11 premieres they’re going to come face-to-face with the carnage that the Darkness has already wrought on the world.

Driving down the road, Sam and Dean stumble upon what looks like a massacre of construction workers and a family who had been out for a drive. “What the hell happened here?” Dean asks. Moments later, a construction worker emerges from behind one of the trucks, prominent black veins on display. Has he been “possessed” or infected by the Darkness? Before the brothers can shoot the man, a police officer does it for them and then immediately wants proof that they haven’t been infected as well.

SUPERNATURAL returns for an all new season on October 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Jared Padalecki Gives Details On SUPERNATURAL’S Impala-Centric Episode

September 22, 2015 By Jessenika Colon Leave a Comment

SN901_015

When last we left the Winchesters, Dean killed Death and unleashed an ancient evil known as Darkness unto the world, but don’t expect Season 11 of SUPERNATURAL to be entirely filled with doom and gloom. Series star Jared Padalecki dished to Entertainment Weekly about an upcoming Impala-centric episode titled “Baby”.

“It’s done in a very clever SUPERNATURAL way, mind you, but episode four is a very cool episode. It’s all about the Impala. We’ve had this third lead character for 10 seasons strong and, we’re not revealing a personality, but we see just how much a part of the Winchesters’ lives it is.”

So far the only details known about the episode are that at some point, there will be a car-wash scene. However, according to Padalecki, there are a few other classic SUPERNATURAL moments coming up. “There’s a bit of everything: the obligatory Sam-and-Dean-talk-over-the-hood-of-the-Impala, or Sam-and-Dean-talk-in-the-Impala,” he said. The episode in general though will shine a new light on the Impala’s journey throughout the series.

“You kind of see the Impala in work in all these scenes from seasons past where we haven’t necessarily known where it is or known how it got there. You just see how crucial a character it is.”

About that car-wash scene: The only thing Jared says is, “We gotta keep her clean.”

SUPERNATURAL returns Oct. 7 at 9PM on The CW.

We Shine the Spotlight on SUPERNATURAL Star Ruth Connell

9-Supernatural-Season-Ten-Episode-Twenty-Two-SPN-S10E22-The-Prisoner-Rowena-Ruth-Connell-600x338

Over the past 10 seasons, you might think we have seen it all from translating the word of god, killing demons, coming back from hell, tracking the yellow-eyed demon, and even making a deal at the crossroads usually to save either Sam or Dean (played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) from death.

However, season 10 focused on the two brothers as they raced against the clock to save Dean from the “Mark of Cain,” a mark that was slowly turning Dean into a demon. Fans soon found out that the only key to saving Dean was a very powerful witch named, Rowena (played by Ruth Connell). Although they are only four days into filming the new season, Ruth sat down exclusively with TVAddicts to discuss the blackness ahead. [Read more…]

Best Parting Line: “You think the world is so terrible with me in it?” SCANDAL’s Rowan asked daughter Olivia as the men hired to bring him in were gunned down feet away. “Wait ’til you see what it’s like without me.”

Funnest Outing: Watching SUPERNATURAL’s high school musical left us wondering why nobody has brought the TV show to Broadway. It’s gotta be better than 50 Shades: The Musical. And yes, that’s a real thing.
