TIMELESS Cancelled by NBC

May 10, 2017 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

timeless

Update: TIMELESS has been renewed after all — the executive producers announced on May 13 that the show will return for 10 episodes in Summer 2018.

TIMELESS has been cancelled after one season at NBC. The show, created by Shawn Ryan (THE SHIELD) and Eric Kripke (SUPERNATURAL) revolved around a criminal mastermind named Flynn who stole a top-secret time machine and used it to travel to the past to change US history and influence the future. In response, scientist Rufus, solider Wyatt, and historian Lucy teamed up and used the machine’s prototype to stop Flynn from changing past events.

The series starred Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnji?, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit.

Fox has pulled the plug on supernatural drama SLEEPY HOLLOW after four seasons. The show has been on the bubble for a few seasons, but managed to garner a renewal last year even after female lead Nicole Beharie departed the show at the end of season 3.

In its fourth season, SLEEPY HOLLOW was pulling in 3.2 million viewers and 0.9 among adults 18-49 in Live+7 ratings.

no tomorrow

The CW has officially cancelled NO TOMORROW and FREQUENCY. Both series were not ratings hits and were not given full-season orders by the network.

The third season that premiered on the network this season — RIVERDALE — did receive a season 2 pick-up recently. The CW also renewed seven of its existing shows, while the fate of iZOMBIE and THE ORIGINALS is still up in the air.

The network will be announcing its new 2017-2018 shows next week during its Upfront presentation.

NCIS Sneak Peek: Stone Temple Pilots

During her career, Elisabeth Röhm often has played powerful women…district attorneys, a White House Chief of Staff, and a police detective with feelings for a vampire…

On tonight’s NCIS, Röhm takes on a different kind of law enforcement role as Mounted Police Sergeant May Dawson. When a Marine Sergeant is found murdered in Rock Creek Park, Dawson teams up with NCIS to investigate.

Evidence indicates that the death is related to a string of crimes in the park,

While searching for a crabapple snack, Dawson’s horse discovers a rock temple full of animal bones.

This brings a series of (facetious) questions to my mind…

Does Dawson know more than she is telling? Will Röhm’s ANGEL experience help her as they investigate any supernatural meaning of the bones? Is there not an easier way to kill someone than crushing them with a stone temple? Will the horse’s excellent investigative work result in its being drafted to serve as an NCIS agent?

…and, lastly, why would any Marine go to Rock Creek Park after 14 years of NCIS-investigated murders there?

NCIS stars Mark Harmon, David McCallum, Pauley Perrette, Sean Murray, Rocky Carroll, Wilmer Valderrama, Jennifer Esposito, Brian Dietzen, Emily Wickersham and Duane Henry.

Tonight’s episode, “Beastmaster,” was written by Christopher J. Waild and directed by Bethany Rooney.

NCIS airs tonight (May 2) at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS in the U.S. and Global TV in Canada.

THE 100 Sneak Peek: Fight to Live or Fight to Die

April 26, 2017 By Araceli Leave a Comment

After a month long break, THE 100 finally returns tonight with the episode “DNR,” which stands for the acronym and medical term “do not resuscitate.” This week’s episode is written by Miranda Kwok, a newcomer to the series who will also be back next year, and directed by Mairzee Almas. And as we’ll soon find out, there’s a whole lot in the world of Skaikru that could use resuscitating.

When we last saw the gang, Jaha, Monty, Kane and Indra had just discovered a secret Second Dawn bunker in Polis where 1200 people can gather to ride out the coming apocalypse. It’s quite a blessing after a number of setbacks have left them with no other options for survival. Only problem is that Clarke has already formed an alliance with King Roan and Azgeda, one which Trikru says they absolutely won’t allow. It’s now everyone for themselves and may the best clan win.

Meanwhile, not everyone is so excited to spend the next five years trapped within six walls again, particularly those who have already spent most of their lives on the Ark. Jasper, Harper and a number of others in what’s left of Arkadia lock themselves in a room, refusing to go and find refuge at Polis. Monty will have to try and convince them that it’s better to go and fight for their lives then stay and die.

At Becca’s lab, Raven has started hallucinating that the scientist and first commander is there and speaking to her. Maybe Becca will have the answers that will save them or this could be a sign that Raven’s mental state is getting much worse. Hopefully, Murphy and Emori are around and able to help her out.

Watch some sneak peeks from the new episode below. THE 100 airs tonight (April 26) at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
