Zach Galifianakis Hosted SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (And We’ve Got Your Good, Bad & Ugly)
The Good: It doesn’t take much for The Hangover star Zach Galifianakis to make us laugh (Said the actor during his understated opening monologue, “I’ve been in Canada, opening for Miles Davis.” Only to quickly follow that that up with… “Kilometres Davis.”) Which is why — combined with the-never-not-funny mockery of Kathie Gifford and Hoda Kotb’s fourth hour of the TODAY SHOW, the always sharp Seth Meyers manning the Weekend Update Desk, and a digital short that had Galifianakis weaving his way in and out of NBC properties such as the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, 30 ROCK and LAW & ORDER — added up to a better than average episode of SNL.

BREAKING: NBC Does Something Right!
Since we here at theTVaddict.com like to occasionally give NBC a hard time — you know, for little things, like that whole Jay Leno experiment and the train-wreck that is THE MARRIAGE REF — we thought it would only be fair to take a moment and applaud them when they actually do something right. Something like officially renewing their critically acclaimed Thursday night comedies COMMUNITY, THE OFFICE, and 30 ROCK following an early season pick-up for PARKS AND RECREATION.
“We are happy to give these early pickups to these critically acclaimed, incredibly funny comedies,” said Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios. “As a result, we look forward to continuing our rewarding partnership with the respective creative teams and talented show-runners for 30 ROCK, THE OFFICE and COMMUNITY as they all consistently deliver quality shows.”
Now, about that MARRIAGE REF…
First Look: THE BIG BANG THEORY’s Sheldon Has His Pants on the Ground
Although we’re not 100% sure as to why poor Sheldon is lookin’ like a fool with his pants on the ground, we do have a two-part theory that goes a little something like so: Alcohol + fear of public speaking = a March 22nd episode of THE BIG BANG THEORY that fans are not going to want to miss. More first look photos of which can be found after the jump.

An In Depth Look At… the New ALL MY CHILDREN!
What a difference a day makes… or, in the case of ALL MY CHILDREN, a new headwriter. Let’s face it… under previous scribe Chuck Pratt, things got downright wonky in Pine Valley. But since he was ousted, things have been looking up thanks in large part to interrim writer Lorraine Broderick and the rest of the scripters. And as our friends at Soaps In Depth reveal in their latest issue, there’s a lot to look forward to in the weeks to come!
“The show is finally getting back on track,” shares executive editor Richard M. Simms. “The scripts are both tighter and lighter, with a lot of the soap’s trademark humor returning. And characters are acting the way we expect them to act, which wasn’t necessarily the case a few months ago.” As proof of the behaviral modification, he points our attention in the direction of the two rivalries which take center stage this week. “There’s a really interesting play on the history of the show taking place. For years and years, Brooke and Erica have been at each other’s throats. But right now, each of them is taking on pesky whippersnappers — Annie and Greenlee, respectively — who think they can stake a claim on what belongs to our favorite divas,” he says, adding with a laugh, “Methinks they are sadly mistaken!”
We Salute Blake Clark (And Why COMMUNITY is the Best Show You’re Not Watching)
It takes a special kind of actor to leave it all hanging in the name of comedy. Which is why, we at theTVaddict.com would like to take this opportunity to salute last night’s COMMUNITY MVP Blake Clark — who quite literally did just that.
